Awakening Here are some questions to help you process the vision for yourself. I am sure that the Lord will give you other things to consider, as you begin to work through it. May you be blessed, as the Lord is blessing me, in the revealing of His heart at this time. Ruth
The Sound · Where do you see yourself in this scene? · Are you ‘camped out’ in a desert place? · What caused you to camp there? · Are you amongst those who are sleeping? · What causes you to remain there? · Have you heard the distant sound of the trumpet? · What is it saying to you? · Did you take heed to it or will you choose to now? · What if you hear the trumpet and others don’t?....will you still go? · What do you think may be the urgency? · As Jesus calls “Come away with Me!” what do you feel on the inside? · Where do you think He is calling you to come to? · As you look into the face of Jesus, what do you see there? · What do you think is on the Lord’s heart as He calls you? · What are you feeling? Fear? Excitement? The Ride · Is the Lord saying ‘Come Away with Me’ to your heart now? · What will you decide? · What does it entail for you to choose to go? · What would be the hardest thing for you, in choosing to go? · What will you have to leave behind? · What is the ‘desert land’ that you are going to have to cross in order to reach the destination? · What do you feel now? · Is there danger ahead? Any idea what that might look like?
The Presence ~ Glory
· Is this place familiar to you? · What glimpses have you had of it? · How does it exist, if not in earthly reality? · Do you feel that you have been there? · How did you get there? · Do you think that we can live there? · Why do you think God wants you to dwell here? · As you look around this place, what is it that touches your heart the most deeply?
All Creation Waits · Can you hear the groan? · Describe how it affects you when you listen to it? · Why might it make a difference to hear the groan of creation from this ‘new place’ rather than from your present place of dwelling? · What do you think God might mean when He says ‘Comfort’? · Are you willing to let God break your heart, as His is broken, over the agony of all creation crying out. · Who are ‘My People’? · Who is “Jerusalem”? · Are you willing to take God literally when He speaks about ‘Jerusalem’ or do you think of ‘Jerusalem’ as a term that only represents the Church? · Does God agree that we can make that replacement? ( Humbly ask him about this, rather than try to justify your position.) · Have you, in your heart replaced ‘Jerusalem’ ( the Jewish people) with The Church. · Can we afford to ignore what God says about His People? · Can we ignore the reality of what He is asking of us? · Will we be a people that will commit our hearts to comfort the broken hearted, especially Jerusalem?
