‘I have hidden your word in my heart’ (Psalm 119:11)

When the words of scripture become deeply embedded into our memories, they provide a rich basis for meditation and revelation from God.  There are several complete psalms amongst the songs on this recording, bringing to our hearts a strong reminder of God’s faithfulness and everlasting goodness.  There are paths to be discovered in the Kingdom of God that are only found as we come to a deeper place of trust, and begin to step out in faith. I pray that you will hear the voice of the beloved Bridegroom Jesus beckoning you to go deeper than ever before into the ever-faithful heart of God the Father, and that the Holy Spirit will bring understanding and revelation to every word that God speaks to your heart as you spend time in His presence.

HIDE ME IN THE SECRET PLACE

PSALM 130 -OUT OF THE DEPTHS

Out of the depths I cry to You O Lord

LORD HEAR MY VOICE

Let Your ear be attentive

To the voice of my supplication.

If You O Lord should mark our transgressions

Who could stand?

But there is forgiveness with You

So that Your name may be revered.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,

And in His word I hope,

More than those who wait for the morning

LORD HEAR MY VOICE

O Israel, hope in the Lord,

For with the Lord there is steadfast love,

It is He who will redeem Israel.

PSALM 116 -I LOVE THE LORD

I love the Lord, for He heard my voice;

He heard my cry for mercy.

Because He turned his ear to me,

I will call on Him as long as I live.

The cords of death entangled me,

The anguish of the grave came upon me;

I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.

Then I called on the name of the Lord:

“O, save me!”

The Lord is gracious, the Lord is righteous;

Our God is full of compassion.

The Lord protects the simple hearted;

When I was in great need, He saved me.

Be at rest once more, O my soul,

For the Lord has been good to you.

For you, O Lord,

Have delivered my soul from death,

My eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, 

That I may walk before the Lord

In the land of the living.

I believed; therefore I said,

“I am greatly afflicted.”

And in my dismay I said,

“Everyone is a liar.”

O, save me!

How can I repay the Lord

For all His goodness to me?

I will lift up the cup of salvation

And call on the name of the Lord.

I will fulfill my vows to the Lord

In the presence of all His people.

Precious in the sight of the Lord

Is the death of His saints.

O Lord, truly I am your servant;

I am your servant,

The child of your maidservant;

You have freed me from my chains.

I will sacrifice an offering of thanks

And call on your name.

I will fulfill my vows to the Lord

In the presence of all His people,

In the courts of the house of the Lord

In your midst, O Jerusalem.

PSALM 121 - I LIFT MY EYES

I lift my eyes up to the hills

From where will my help come?

My help comes from the Lord,

Who has made heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot be moved

He who keeps you will not slumber

He who keeps Israel

Will neither slumber nor sleep

The Lord is your keeper

The Lord is the shade at your right hand

The sun shall not strike you by day

Nor the moon by night

The Lord will keep you from all evil

The Lord will keep your life

The Lord will keep

Your going out and coming in

From this time on, and for ever more

I WILL TRUST

I will trust

I will lean

I will say “You are my God”

Who can know the way you go

But those who choose to follow?

1.  Paths unseen, ways unknown,

Hidden in the heart of God.

Dreams that yet have to be dreamed

For He has done marvelous things.
