A powerful classical composition for orchestra, choirs and soloists, using the text  of children's poetry from the Holocaust, woven together with the Hebrew scriptures, to portray God's heart in the midst of suffering.

 Oratorio Terezin was premiered in Toronto Canada in November 2003, during Holocaust Week. The European premiere took place in four cities in three countries in 2004. A three city tour took place in Israel in 2005. The opening performance in Tel Aviv took place on Holocaust Memorial Day (Yom Hashoa); May 5th, 2005.

Oratorio Terezin had it's US premiere in Long Island, New York, and in New York City, where it was performed to a resounding standing ovation at Carnegie Hall. 

On May 4th 2008, Oratorio Terezin was performed in Montreal, at Place des Arts, presented by Vanier College. It was a wonderful success, and was the first time that the work has been out there 'on it's own' !!!    The audience response was so enthusiastic and positive, and once again it was so good to be able to meet survivors from Terezin and also from Auschwitz and other death camps. What a celebration of life this has become, as well as a sombre 'remembrance'.
